School Field Trips

It's harvest time and there are lots of things to learn about on the farm!

Autumn is the very best time to visit as the vegetables are ready to harvest! See everything we grow on the farm including sunflowers, gourds, different varieties of pumpkins and ornamental corn.

Field trips to the farm happen when the farm is closed to the public on weekdays.

Your class will go on a tractor pulled hayride and view our sunflower and pumpkin patches. If you have enough supervision, you are welcome to take students on a trip through our corn maze.

A sample itinerary for your day at the farm:

Activity choice: Plant a pumpkin seed in a cup to take home OR explore a sunflower and remove the seeds
Tractor-pulled hayride with scavenger hunt
Turn in your completed scavenger hunt card for a special token to take home
Don't get lost in the corn maze! (teacher and parent supervised)
Group photo in front of antique fire truck (will be emailed to trip organizer)
Pick up coupons for $5 off family pass admission to Halloween Bash for each child

School trips to the farm are 1.5 hours long and they cost $6 per child. Teachers and supervisors attend at no charge for 2022.
